About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a variety of projects within their Sunderland, Tyne and Wear operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects, from initiation to completion, on time and within budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and mitigate risks to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure for telecoms projects .
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication channels.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
- Track project progress, prepare regular status reports, and communicate updates to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing telecommunications projects , ideally with infrastructure or network deployment experience.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
