About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to spearhead a variety of high-profile construction projects across London . This pivotal role involves overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be instrumental in managing project teams, client relationships, and all associated risks, contributing significantly to the firm's reputation for excellence in the construction sector. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for diverse construction initiatives, from inception through to handover.
- Develop and meticulously maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
- Effectively manage and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Liaise proactively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Demonstrable success in managing large-scale building projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and relevant construction technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- A relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
