About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and organized Blockchain Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex blockchain initiatives from their location in Reading . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing blockchain projects, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders effectively. This role requires a unique blend of project management expertise and a solid understanding of blockchain technology to navigate the challenges and opportunities within this rapidly evolving field. You will ensure projects meet their objectives on time and within budget, driving value for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets for blockchain projects.
- Manage day-to-day execution of projects, tracking progress and identifying potential risks and issues.
- Coordinate activities between cross-functional teams, including development, legal, marketing, and operations.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies within the blockchain context.
- Manage project scope and change requests to ensure successful delivery.
- Facilitate project closure, including lessons learned and post-project reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, with a strong emphasis on delivering technology projects.
- Demonstrable experience managing blockchain or cryptocurrency-related projects.
- In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
