About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead the development and execution of significant clean energy initiatives in Manchester . You will oversee projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape. You will be a key player in driving the transition to sustainable energy sources, working within a dedicated team committed to environmental progress and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including site assessment, permitting, design, procurement, and construction.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Stakeholder engagement, including reporting progress to senior management and investors.
- Ensure projects meet all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing large-scale renewable energy projects (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience with contract management and procurement processes.
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
