About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Remote Civil Project Manager to spearhead critical infrastructure projects from the comfort of their own home. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple civil engineering projects remotely.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and liaise with design teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients via virtual communication channels.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Ensure all projects adhere to relevant engineering standards, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale civil engineering projects, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a fully remote capacity.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack).
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and contract management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills adaptable to a virtual environment.
