About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and organized Blockchain Project Manager to lead exciting initiatives in Derby, Derbyshire, UK . You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various blockchain projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of the blockchain landscape, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and timelines effectively. You will play a key role in driving the adoption and implementation of innovative blockchain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of blockchain projects , from initiation to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Manage project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a significant portion focused on blockchain or technology-related projects.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology , cryptocurrencies, and smart contracts.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing budgets and timelines for complex projects.
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
