About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Remote Construction Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful completion of projects from their home base, supporting operations that may include sites near Reading . This pivotal role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills to manage project lifecycles, budgets, and timelines effectively. You will coordinate with on-site teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, leveraging technology and remote collaboration tools to bridge geographical distances and maintain project momentum in a fully distributed team structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close construction projects, managing scope, budget, and schedule from initiation to completion.
- Lead and motivate remote and on-site project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Manage client relationships and provide regular project updates, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Oversee risk management, identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager , managing projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management software, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a track record of remote team management.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and collaboration tools.
