MCS Group is partnering with a fast-growing software business to appoint an experienced Project Manager. This is a client-facing role delivering complex software implementation projects for major financial institutions. The successful candidate will take ownership from initial planning through to go-live, working closely with banking clients and internal delivery teams to keep projects on track. The Role As a PM you will lead projects from kick-off through to go-live You'll manage scope, budgets, timelines, risks and dependencies You'll work directly with banking clients and senior stakeholders across financial services Coordinate delivery across Product, Engineering and Client Services Create a smooth onboarding and implementation experience Manage change effectively and keep projects moving at pace Build trusted relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout delivery The Person Strong project management experience within software, technology, fintech or financial services Proven experience delivering projects within financial services; ideally where banks have been the end client A track record of managing complex, client-facing projects (ideally software or technology focused) Confidence working with senior stakeholders across large financial institutions Strong knowledge of change management and project governance PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management qualification Experience using modern project management tools Salary £50-55,000 To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity, please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Chris Busby, Associate Director - IT Recruitment, at MCS Group Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
