Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority to appoint an Interim Specialist Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major collective consultation process as part of its transformation programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and delivery of the collective consultation workstream
- Coordinate consultation plans, timelines, resources, risks and dependencies
- Work closely with HR, Employee Relations, Trade Unions and senior stakeholders
- Ensure consultation activity is legally informed, well organised and delivered at pace
- Maintain strong governance, reporting, action logs and risk management
- Identify and escalate employment relations and organisational risks
About You:
- Experienced Project or Programme Manager with a strong background in organisational change
- Significant experience of collective consultation, workforce change or restructuring
- Strong understanding of employment law, employee relations and Trade Union engagement
- Excellent project management, governance and stakeholder management skills
- Confident working in complex, politically sensitive organisations
- Organised, proactive and able to provide strong delivery grip in a fast-paced environment
