About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead critical projects within their organisation based in London . You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership capabilities to drive successful project outcomes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency across all project endeavours.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects , ensuring they meet scope, time, and budget requirements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and risk assessment strategies.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project success.
- Report on project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders regularly.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, best practices, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management , with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, particularly within a London -based corporate setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in risk management, resource allocation, and budget control.
