About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Construction Project Manager to join their dynamic, remote-first team. This pivotal role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of construction projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be instrumental in driving project success, fostering collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, and upholding our client's commitment to excellence in the construction industry , all while working remotely from your chosen location within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and procurement strategies.
- Coordinate and liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits (virtual or as-needed travel) and progress meetings to monitor site activities and quality control.
- Implement and maintain robust project management methodologies and best practices across all projects.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant building regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in the construction sector, with significant experience managing complex projects.
- Demonstrable knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and health & safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, with experience in remote collaboration platforms.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB) are highly advantageous.
