About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Remote Project Manager to oversee the development and enhancement of their e-commerce platforms . This is a fully remote position where you will manage the entire project lifecycle, from ideation and planning through to implementation and optimisation, ensuring a seamless online customer experience. You will collaborate with digital marketing, UX/UI design, and development teams to deliver cutting-edge features and functionality that drive sales and customer engagement, all from the comfort of your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of e-commerce platform projects, including feature development, website redesigns, and integrations.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in alignment with business strategy.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among remote development, design, and marketing teams.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, ensuring smooth project progression and timely delivery.
- Work closely with product owners to prioritise backlog items and manage sprints effectively.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms or digital product development.
- Proven experience managing projects involving online retail websites, mobile applications, or related digital commerce solutions.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, online customer journeys, and digital marketing principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.
