About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead critical initiatives within their organization based in Leicester . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and driving successful outcomes within a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and escalating as needed.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and updates effectively to all stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , preferably with large-scale or complex projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master are highly desirable.
