About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of construction projects in the Aberdeen area. You will be instrumental in leading projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans , including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to ensure adherence to plans and quality standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and third-party contractors.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with at least 7 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets exceeding £10 million.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes , and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
