Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation for large-scale construction projects.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure a safe working environment and prevent project delays.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies, providing regular progress reports and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in construction project management , with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, health and safety regulations , and contract administration.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and financial management tools.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or MCIOB are highly desirable.
