Overview In this role you will lead multiple civil rail projects under a Tier 1 contractor, overseeing delivery from construction through installation. You’ll drive health, safety and quality in collaboration with the SHQE function and manage project teams, resources and subcontractors to meet schedules and budgets. You’ll coordinate constructability input and ensure alignment with CDM regulations and site standards. This is a hands-on leadership position that shapes project delivery at scale in a dynamic rail environment.

Responsibilities - Establish and promote health, safety and environmental best practices with the SHQE team
- Oversee the construction and installation phase for multiple projects
- Coordinate constructability input during solution development
- Allocate and deploy construction staff based on experience and skills
- Liaise with Project Managers to size the resource pool for workload
- Manage construction resources (labour, plant, materials) and subcontractors
- Ensure performance against schedules and man-hour budgets
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and CDM Regulations
- Ensure construction activities adhere to quality procedures
- Collaborate with other functional leaders to enable project delivery
