Overview In this role you drive delivery for a fintech trading platform redesign, aligning cross-functional teams to a front-to-back overhaul. You partner with the head of product and programme management to ensure agile delivery, manage risks and costs, and keep stakeholders informed. You will shape the SDLC, oversee multiple pods, and coordinate documentation, testing, and reviews. This project offers the chance to impact a core trading platform in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Responsibilities - Create and maintain project initiation documents and delivery plans
- Manage change requests and sprint planning in an agile setting
- Develop detailed project plans with activities, timelines, effort, and resources
- Ensure adequate skills and resources for project delivery
- Identify, monitor, and report issues and risks
- Track actual costs against budget
- Facilitate scope evaluation and user story breakdown with agile teams
- Coordinate multiple teams including developers
- Produce documentation and support implementations and reviews
- Oversee testing reviews and overall project governance
Key requirements - 3 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Prince2 or Scrum Master certification
- Strong technology project management background
- Solid software delivery experience and understanding of SDLC
- Practical agile delivery experience
- External client-facing experience
- Good IT systems understanding
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Experience in small firms ideally
- Fintech experience preferred (ideally)
