Responsibilities - Lead planning, management and delivery of complex temporary works and structural packages from concept to completion
- Develop delivery strategies aligning safety, quality, programme and commercial targets
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, design, construction and heritage disciplines
- Monitor progress and manage delivery risks to maintain milestones
- Prepare and present project reports and programme reviews to senior stakeholders
- Provide engineering leadership for temporary works solutions including scaffolding, temporary steel structures, foundations and access schemes
- Review designs for robustness, buildability and compliance
- Oversee design coordination between consultants, temporary works designers and construction teams
- Ensure activities respect historic significance and fabric, collaborating with conservation specialists
- Lead site delivery through planning, sequencing and coordination of installation works
- Manage contractor performance across multiple fronts and enforce safe systems of work
- Monitor construction quality and adherence to approved designs
- Resolve technical and operational challenges during construction
- Act as principal interface with clients, contractors, consultants, Historic England and conservation officers
- Lead stakeholder meetings and manage approvals and expectations throughout delivery
