Overview In this London-area role you will lead construction projects for main contractors and developers, covering education, healthcare, housing, refurbishments and high-end residential schemes. You’ll drive programmes, manage site teams and coordinate Subcontractors and consultants to deliver quality, safety and environmental targets. You will work closely with clients and design teams to control budgets and ensure compliant, on-time delivery at scale. This role offers impact across multiple sectors and prominent projects in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities - Manage health and safety on site and lead site team performance
- Oversee multiple site managers and coordinate subcontractors and consultants
- Coordinate resources (plant, labour, materials) and monitor quality and environmental standards
- Develop and implement construction programmes and monitor progress against schedule
- Control preliminary budgets and liaise with client representatives and consultants
- Ensure high-quality delivery and robust safety and compliance in all works
Key requirements - UK main contractor/developer experience
- Must reside in the UK
- 3-5+ years industry experience
- Degree preferred but not essential
- Audit skills and certification would be useful
