Overview As Project Technical Leader, you guide water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept to construction, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery. Responsibilities - Provide project oversight and technical leadership for water infrastructure projects (Eastern region and North America)
- Plan, organize, and manage deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality, and within-budget outcomes
- Lead design from preliminary to detailed stages, including bidding and construction inspection
- Develop engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Prepare technical reports and substantiated recommendations for clients and contractors
- Contribute to proposals and winning strategies for new work
- Coordinate permits with clients, utility companies, and regulatory agencies
- Mentor and supervise junior professionals; provide technical guidance and review work
- Support business development and industry visibility through conferences and committees
- Promote safety and health practices on projects and site visits
- Balance multiple concurrent projects and optimize design criteria and analyses
- Apply industry and client standards in design and execution
- Assist in ensuring environmental and permitting considerations are addressed
Key requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or similar
- P.Eng license or ability to obtain within one year
- Minimum of 10 years of water/wastewater project design and delivery experience
