Overview As Payments Project Manager for Quant Capital’s client, you lead client implementation projects from planning to close in a fast-paced fintech/SAAS setting. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out APIs aligned to the company’s vision. You apply a risk-based approach to planning and decision-making to ensure successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management in a globally distributed environment, with a relaxed, open culture and performance-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities - Formulate and manage project plans within budget and timeline
- Lead execution across project stages, from ideation to deployment
- Maintain schedule discipline and resolve derailments through effective communication
- Develop and manage project budget and track financials
- Assess, report and mitigate project risks throughout lifecycle
- Manage client delivery relationships and align expectations with stakeholders
- Communicate milestones, issues, decisions, and change controls to all parties
- Coordinate with globally dispersed teams and vendors to ensure project success
Key requirements - 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Chemistry from a UK or EU university (Red Brick)
- Recognised Project Management certification (PMP/Prince2/CAPM/CPM/CSM/MPM/Agile)
- 7-10 years’ experience in delivering high-profile, business-critical projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of PM lifecycles: planning, design, configuration, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, controls and measurement
- Proven track record with top-tier financial services clients and strategic projects
- Clear communication, questioning skills, and conflict resolution
- Ability to work with globally dispersed teams and report to business stakeholders
