Overview In this role you will lead the MEP scope for a large-scale data centre, coordinating design, construction, and handover to ensure reliable, efficient mechanical systems. You will work with cross-functional teams, owners, and contractors to align with the client’s vision and deliver on time and budget. The role focuses on integrating MEP with commissioning and project controls while maintaining safety and quality. Responsibilities - Lead full MEP scope for a large-scale data centre project
- Coordinate planning, installation, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems
- Act as primary MEP contact for the Owner’s Representative and client queries
- Manage MEP subcontractors and vendors to meet performance and quality targets
- Ensure integration of MEP works with CSA, commissioning, and project controls teams
- Develop and track detailed project programmes against milestones
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and manage variations with commercial teams
- Lead safety, coordination, and progress meetings and support testing and handover processes
Key requirements - Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
- 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction
- 5 years of experience with HVAC, cooling, and water systems
- 5 years of experience with data centre operations and cross-functional teams
- 5 years of experience with electro/mechanical assembly and testing procedures
