Overview As a Project Manager in Stantec’s Transportation team, you drive multi-disciplinary roadway projects from concept to delivery. You’ll lead design staff, manage budgets, schedules, and client relations, and contribute to proposals and business development. You’ll work with public sector clients across Ontario to advance environmentally sound and resilient transportation solutions. This role combines technical leadership with stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-quality roadways that support communities. Responsibilities - Direct roadway design staff and lead multi-discipline project teams
- Manage project finances including budgets, forecasting, change orders, and invoicing
- Develop proposals, budgets, schedules, and maintain client liaison
- Collaborate with Transportation Leaders and Project Managers to plan staffing and resources
- Support Sainttec Quality Management System and Safety programs
- Ensure project functions meet standards and deliver progress reports and presentations
- Foster a culture of quality design and teamwork
- Other duties as assigned/required
Key requirements - Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng. or LEL)
- 10+ years of roadway project management experience
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and customer relationship skills
- Experience managing MTO and/or Ontario municipal road projects
- Experience in report and proposal writing
