Overview As Project Manager you will lead external civils and façade packages on a large 1300-unit mixed-use development in South West London. You will coordinate site logistics, remediation, basements, and external works, shaping strategy and on-site execution. You’ll work closely with fit-out and MEP PMs and the Construction Director to drive timely delivery and quality across external trades. The role offers growth into fit-out leadership as workload allows, with a focus on delivering a high-profile, complex project. This is a client-facing, hands-on opportunity at a main contractor level with significant scale and impact.
Responsibilities - Develop and execute site logistics strategy on site
- Manage basement and remediation works alongside civils and structural activities
- Oversee façade works and S278 activities
- Coordinate hard and soft landscaping phasing
- Develop orders and strategies for bathroom pod installation
- Liaise with fit-out and MEP Project Managers to ensure delivery
- Support Sales and Marketing Suite delivery
- Collaborate with Construction Director and MEP PM to drive overall delivery
- Assist with building the team to plan and deliver fit-out works
- Potentially lead fit-out works if workload permits
Key requirements - 10+ years in the industry
- Experience running site logistics (beneficial)
- Engineering background desirable but not essential
- IT skills for reporting, QA audits, and drawing understanding
- Effective communication with senior management
- Strong process management and willingness to improve
- Team player with hands-on approach
- SMSTS qualified
- First Aid certified
- Ability to liaise with Warranty Providers and Quality checkers
