Overview As a Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager, you lead planning and design for infrastructure projects that improve communities. You’ll guide multidisciplinary teams, drive proposals and client relationships, and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule. Your work supports sustainable water and wastewater solutions from large plants to remote facilities, aligning with Stantec’s mission to create lasting societal impact. Responsibilities - Lead design professionals and technicians and mentor high-performing project teams
- Drive business development, proposals, and client relationship development
- Develop project scopes, budgets, staffing, and schedules and oversee design and construction
- Create project management plans with goals for complex projects
- Coordinate quality assurance/quality control and regulatory reviews
- Participate in permitting processes and engage stakeholders and clients
- Forecast project revenue and oversee proposals with scope and effort estimates
- Represent the firm in conferences, committees, and knowledge sharing activities
Key requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 15 years of project management experience in water/wastewater projects
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic direction for teams, projects, and offices
