Overview In this Technical Project Manager role within a fintech wealth-management software environment, you will lead major software implementations from scoping through delivery. You’ll coordinate with client teams and product development to implement new platform functionality and ensure regulatory criteria are addressed. You’ll articulate requirements to engineering, maintain clear stakeholder communication, and oversee release, documentation, and testing activities. This position emphasizes delivering client value, shaping the platform roadmap, and improving the overall client experience in a fast-paced implementation team.

Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end software implementations from inception to delivery
- Capture and write user stories with acceptance criteria to enable incremental value
- Engage with engineering teams to validate requirements and solution viability
- Provide detailed design and estimation inputs for engineering teams
- Ensure regulatory criteria are met throughout design and delivery
- Manage stakeholder relationships (internal and external)
- Oversee release management and ensure all deliverables are completed
- Maintain project documentation and repository organization
- Coordinate code reviews and ensure unit tests are included in development plans
- Deliver architectural roadmap milestones in line with plan and budget
Key requirements - 3 years experience as a Project Manager
- Experience in Financial Advice Practice or Wealth Management
- Financial services experience
- Strong software delivery background with SDLC understanding
- Agile delivery experience with practical application
- External client-facing experience
- Ability to work closely with developers
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Understanding of development lifecycle
