Overview In this role you will drive scientific project management and clinical trials operations within the Imperial College Memory Research Centre, supporting Professor Edison. You will oversee a diverse portfolio across neurodegenerative conditions using PET, MRI, and CSF biomarkers, contributing to grant writing, protocol development, and horizon-scanning for funding. You’ll ensure studies meet high scientific, operational, and regulatory standards while collaborating with a renowned, international team. Responsibilities - provide day-to-day scientific project management and clinical trials operations support
- drive delivery of an interventional, observational, neuroimaging, and translational research portfolio
- utilise PET, MRI, and CSF biomarker technologies in studies across Alzheimer’s disease, MCI, and vascular dementia
- lead grant writing, manuscript development, and protocol creation
- perform horizon-scanning for new funding opportunities
- ensure studies meet high scientific, operational, and regulatory standards
Key requirements - PhD in neuroscience
- excellent writing skills for reports, grant applications, and manuscripts
- experience preparing ethics submissions, managing budgets, and supporting staff
- proven ability to apply UK Clinical Trials Regulations, GCP, Data Protection Act, and Research Governance Framework to trial coordination
