Overview In this role you lead the end-to-end delivery of technology-enabled initiatives within Elsevier’s Digital Business Solutions Portfolio. You work across Product, Engineering, and business teams to translate priorities into clear plans, remove obstacles, and drive delivery with autonomy. You’ll balance detail with strategic outcomes, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and push delivery forward through practical options and decisive actions. Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end delivery of one or more moderately complex projects, defining business case, outcomes, plans, schedules, milestones, and responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, and business functions, while aligning with senior stakeholders
- Proactively remove obstacles and manage risks, issues, and dependencies with mitigation actions and clear recommendations
- Establish meaningful performance measures, analyze project data, and monitor delivery health with corrective action when needed
- Drive timely decisions and coordinate resource, capacity, and priority management with functional leads
- Challenge assumptions and implement practical improvements to strengthen delivery
Key requirements - Independently delivering moderately complex technology or software projects from initiation through implementation with knowledge of SDLC and agile delivery
- Strong leadership, facilitation, influencing, and negotiation across multidisciplinary teams and levels of seniority
- Sound judgement and problem-solving in ambiguity and changing priorities
- Strong analytical capability to interpret information into insights and recommendations
- Clear and adaptable written and verbal communication, plus ability to learn AI-enabled delivery tools
