Overview As Senior Project Manager you will lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT infrastructure programmes within a secure Defence environment. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule and budget, and ensure governance and risk controls are in place to meet high security and quality requirements. You will act as a senior point of contact for customers and stakeholders, driving decision-making and delivery momentum. This on-site role supports a greenfield programme that integrates infrastructure and applications for mission-critical operations, with active MoD DV clearance.

Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT infrastructure projects from planning to handover in a Defence context
- Own scope, schedule, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies and change control
- Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, security teams, suppliers and delivery partners
- Serve as key liaison for customers and senior stakeholders, guiding decisions and expectations
- Govern, assure and report on delivery plans, finances, RAID, and status for governance forums
- Identify and manage dependencies and blockers, escalate where needed
- Ensure compliance with security, quality and operational requirements in a regulated environment
- Foster strong relationships across customer and delivery teams to maintain momentum
Key requirements - Proven experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects in Defence or highly secure environments
- Full delivery lifecycle ownership: scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies
- Strong collaboration with technical specialists, architects and engineering teams
- Knowledge of project governance, assurance and delivery controls in regulated environments
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and driving informed decisions
- Commercial and financial awareness including budget management and supplier management
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities
