Overview As a Project Manager you will lead rail infrastructure projects across Kent and the Southern region, with autonomy to plan and deliver station refurbishments, minor works and related scopes. You will work across project sites, client meetings and the office, driving safety, quality and on-time delivery in a live railway environment. Responsibilities - Deliver station refurbishment, minor works, surveys and remedial projects across Kent and the Southern region
- Lead projects from planning through to completion
- Manage programmes, resources, suppliers and approved subcontractors
- Visit project sites to monitor quality, sequencing, safety and progress
- Provide regular client updates and maintain clear communication
- Coordinate site teams, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Oversee project risks, commercial aspects and delivery requirements
- Ensure works are safe, on programme and meet client expectations
- Maintain project documentation, progress reports and site records
- Manage own diary and make informed decisions to keep projects moving
Key requirements - Experience as a Project Manager within the rail industry
- Strong understanding of the operational railway and live environment requirements
- Experience delivering station refurbishments, minor works, building works or multidisciplinary railway projects
- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Full UK driving licence
- Technical, engineering or railway supervisory background desirable
- Experience working on Network Rail frameworks advantageous
