Overview Enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to lead technical teams and releases across complex client environments. You will bridge between developers and senior tech stakeholders, enforce development standards, and steer release pipelines with risk-Mitigation and governance. You’ll guide cross-functional delivery, coordinate internal specialists, and help introduce AI into SDLC. Responsibilities - Release and technical reporting on deliverables, architecture, and release pipeline
- Manage project plans and detailed reporting for progress tracking
- RAID log management and issue escalation
- Identify technical risks and provide mitigation options
- Coordinate communications with stakeholders and chair technical meetings as needed
- Lead and inspire internal technical specialists and ensure team delivers
- Improve processes and governance, especially around build and environments
- Organize and manage build of new infrastructure environments
- Coordinate high-quality technical solutions with effective time management
- Support AI adoption into SDLC and oversee complex releases across environments
- Run projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Ensure client expectations are set and met with high-quality service
- Manage 3rd party vendors, environments, and client technical resources
- Build customer confidence through understanding needs and delivering solutions
Key requirements - Extensive experience in software development project management
- Experience in supply chain and logistics, ideally in retail
- Ability to analyze log files and drive further investigation
- Experience with Cloud for Back End and React/Node for Front End
- Understanding of cloud/on premise infrastructure
- Familiarity with Terraform (basic level)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and legacy AWS
- Knowledge of project lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, Incremental, Waterfall)
- Comfort with complex technical environments and legacy integrations
- Experience with code management tools (Git, Bitbucket, SVN)
- Understanding of GitHub or other release pipeline tools
- Experience managing 3rd parties
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent negotiation with tact and diplomacy
- Relevant Project Management qualifications
- Developer background or programming qualification advantageous but not essential
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
