Overview In this Project Manager role, you will lead delivery of major station packages for HS2 within a specialist rail team. You will define project structure, set targets, and manage interfaces with clients and third parties to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes. The position emphasizes HSQE leadership, contract and procurement management, and risk controls across the project lifecycle. You will work in a high-profile infrastructure environment and influence delivery through cross-functional collaboration and disciplined planning.

Responsibilities - Define project organisation and responsibilities
- Communicate project requirements to the team
- Set stretch targets and manage performance
- Coordinate with Client/Representative and integrated project team
- Oversee information flow among teams and third parties
- Implement and maintain project management systems and HSQE leadership
- Approve IMS Plan and appoint duties
- Evaluate opportunities and risks and plan procurement deadlines
- Review and update contract programme
- Organise works packages and support subcontractor awards
- Contract management and supervision of progress
- Oversee change management processes
- Support recruitment and training needs
- Provide period commercial and delivery reporting to internal stakeholders
Key requirements - Degree in Civil Engineering
- APM or MICE advantageous
- Main Contractor background
- Experience in major rail infrastructure projects, especially station builds
