Overview In this role you bridge research, modeling and architecture with delivery, turning early-stage ideas into actionable plans without losing technical intent. You partner with engineers and researchers to structure uncertain work, manage risks, and steer programs from exploration to execution. You communicate status and decisions to stakeholders, escalate where needed, and help shape the roadmap for cutting-edge semiconductor and AI-enabled systems. You will enable cross-functional teams to deliver credible, quality outcomes at pace, aligned with technical objectives.
Responsibilities - Lead early-stage semiconductor research, modelling and architecture projects from exploration to engineering delivery
- Partner with architects, modelling engineers, researchers, technical leads and programme teams to understand concepts, constraints and dependencies
- Structure uncertain technical work into phases, decision points, risks, mitigations and delivery options
- Translate research and architecture intent into credible plans for engineering execution while preserving technical objectives
- Constructively challenge plans where uncertainty, architectural maturity, modelling assumptions or resourcing create delivery risk
- Coordinate electronics and software engineering teams to resolve schedule, scope, resource or quality issues
- Create and manage plans for internal and third-party delivery against technical quality, cost, schedule and contractual commitments
- Communicate status, risks and decisions clearly to programme teams and senior stakeholders
Key requirements - Significant experience in technical project management within complex semiconductor, silicon IP, SoC, GPU, AI, system design, modelling or software environments
- Ability to engage credibly with architecture, modelling, research and engineering teams
- Comfortable managing projects where scope or direction evolves during research and architecture work
- Strong facilitation skills for technical decision-making and cross-team alignment
- Ability to convert exploratory activity into clear plans, milestones, risks and decision gates
- Understanding of engineering development processes and transition from concept to delivery
- Experience presenting complex technical project information to senior stakeholders in a clear, decision-oriented way
- Creative, analytical and resilient mindset with a bias to practical outcomes in ambiguity
- facilitation
- strong communication
