Overview You will lead a large-scale green energy feedstock facility project on the client side, guiding it from concept through FEED and EPC, coordinating engineering, construction, and commissioning. Acting as the main interface with FEED/EPC contractors and third parties, you drive contract, schedule, and cost management while ensuring quality and HSE compliance. Responsibilities - Lead project delivery from concept to EPC for a feedstock processing facility
- Manage engineering, construction and commissioning activities
- Oversee engineering contractor and third-party supplier performance
- Interface with FEED/EPC contractor to drive execution and contract strategy
- Lead tendering and contract award for multiple work packages
- Drive schedule to achieve on-time delivery and report progress
- Manage costs, invoicing, payments and change control
- Oversee interface management with stakeholders
- Develop and support work plans including remedial changes
- Verify contractor design against client specifications
- Prepare budget costs and cash flow projections
- Ensure HSE issues are managed per client policies
Key requirements - Degree qualified in engineering (chartered preferred but not essential)
- Experience managing energy sector projects across all stages
- Prior knowledge/experience of feedstock processing facility projects essential
- Torrefaction knowledge desirable
- Power plant build/refurb/commissioning/re-commissioning experience
