Overview As a Project Manager within HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, you will lead planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering and consultancy projects up to 2M in value. You’ll manage scope, schedule, risks, resources, and finances while upholding client satisfaction and technical excellence. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet contractual and HDR quality standards under senior guidance. Responsibilities - Lead day-to-day project delivery for projects up to 2M in value
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, and resource plans
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives
- Ensure timely, on-budget delivery meeting quality standards
- Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective actions
- Define and manage project scopes, assumptions, and deliverables
- Identify and manage scope changes and prepare change proposals
- Maintain risk registers and escalation of significant risks
- Monitor budgets, resources, forecasts, and support invoicing
- Foster positive client relationships and coordinate meetings
- Ensure documentation control, quality audits, and lessons learned
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project delivery teams
- Manage project closeout and archive records
Key requirements - Strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder management
- Ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage competing priorities
- Experience with meeting management and information control
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; MS Project desirable
