Overview In this role you will lead the external envelope package for a Notting Hill refurbishment on a high-rise building. You will oversee external works, manage a site team of 2–3 managers, and ensure delivery on time and within budget. You will coordinate scaffolding and interfacing trades, maintaining safety and quality on a demanding external scope. English Heritage experience is advantageous, helping you navigate heritage considerations within a major project. This is a hands-on leadership role with impact on schedule, cost control, and project outcomes.
Responsibilities - Lead external envelope works for a high-rise refurbishment
- Coordinate scaffolding, trades, and site team (2–3 site managers)
- Ensure project stays on schedule and within budget
- Safely manage external works and compliance with project standards
- Liaise with client, consultants, and stakeholders
- Apply safety practices and manage risk on site
Key requirements - Experience of large external projects on high rise
- English Heritage experience (advantageous)
- SMSTS
- Experience working for a main contractor/developer
