Overview In this role you drive IT project delivery for a fast-growing fintech client, balancing client-facing communications with execution. You oversee budgets, resources, and external partners while coordinating cross-functional teams. You’ll manage both ongoing client modifications and a new greenfield B2C wealth management platform, shaping usability and delivery at scale. You work closely with sponsors and senior stakeholders to ensure commitments are met and value is realized.
Responsibilities - Manage IT projects and ensure project commitments are met
- Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders across the organization
- Oversee project budget and allocate technical resources from internal teams, external suppliers and consultants
- Coordinate scheduling and reporting for external clients
- Lead external client projects and oversee coordination of technical experts
- Speak with developers to align technical work with project goals
- Distill complex technical information for senior management
- Foster team development and manage a small- to mid-size project team
Key requirements - 3-6 years of experience as a project manager
- Technical background with ability to converse with developers
- Experience in a small firm or vendor environment
- Scheduling and reporting skills
- Experience running external client projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels
- People management and team coordination experience
- Experience working with external third-party suppliers and clients
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages
- Inquisitive nature with ability to escalate issues
