Overview As a Project Manager in the Civil Rail division, you will lead delivery of rail infrastructure projects for major clients from tender to completion. You will work with cross-functional teams to align resources, safety, and schedule, shaping solutions during bids and steering on-site execution. The role offers hands-on leadership across construction phases and a chance to contribute to high-profile rail projects in the UK. You will partner with the bid team and client stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities - Lead overall construction and installation phase management for projects
- Coordinate constructability input during solutions development
- Allocate and manage construction staff and resources based on project needs
- Ensure an appropriate resource pool with suitable skills and experience
- Manage subcontractor performance and adherence to schedules and budgets
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation across construction activities
- Maintain close liaison with Bid Team throughout tender processes
- Promote best practices in health, safety and environmental matters with SHQE department
Key requirements - Degree in Civil Engineering or similar (MICE preferred)
- Experience with main contractor background
- Civil engineering and rail sector experience
- Track record of delivering projects for Network Rail, HS2, London Underground, TfL
- Eligibility to work in the UK (citizen or ILR)
