Overview In this role you will lead a ~£50m per year repair and maintenance programme, coordinating a delivery contractor to meet safety, cost, schedule and quality targets. You will integrate Anglian Water operations, construction, and supply chain to ensure compliant, on-time delivery across the region. You will drive performance, governance, and commercial controls while fostering a safety-led, high-performance culture. This position offers impact across the full lifecycle from scoping to handover within a regulated, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities - Lead contractor delivery teams to drive consistent performance, standards, and behaviours across partners
- Ensure effective operational integration between client operations, contractor, and supply chain
- Deliver programme outcomes (safety, cost, schedule, quality) aligned with AMP objectives and client expectations
- Oversee robust reporting and intervene to maintain performance
- Manage commercial and financial performance, seeking value for money and cost control
- Collaborate with the commercial team to maintain contract and commercial administration
- Provide governance and assurance, ensuring standards, risk management, and delivery controls
- Integrate the work into the wider maintenance portfolio with governance and interface management
- Provide leadership for the programme and team, ensuring capability and capacity
- Manage risk and issues with appropriate mitigations
