Overview In this role you lead high-impact, cross-functional projects within a dynamic insurance environment. You’ll craft detailed plans, manage budgets and timelines, and keep stakeholders informed from executives to partners. You’ll drive change, ensure quality deliverables, and mentor teams to continuously improve PM practices. Responsibilities - Lead multiple, high-impact projects across departments or global teams
- Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, milestones, resources and budgets
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including executives and third parties
- Monitor performance with KPIs and adjust plans to meet goals
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Run regular project meetings and provide status reports
- Ensure compliance with PM methodologies and best practices
- Ensure initiative deliverables meet quality standards
- Develop and execute change management strategies
- Foster collaboration with senior stakeholders and project team
- Promote effective communication among stakeholders and team
- Conduct post-project evaluations for improvements
- Mentor project managers and share PM best practices
- Lead and manage change initiatives across the organisation
Key requirements - 5+ years delivering large, complex projects/transformations
- 3+ years in the insurance industry
- Experience in both agile and waterfall environments
- Proficiency with PM tools (e.g., Clarity, Jira)
- PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM certifications and Change Management certification (PROSCI or similar)
- Budget and resource management, risk management and issue resolution
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Knowledge of the London Insurance Market is highly desirable
