Overview In this role you will lead a global supply and demand transformation within a leading energy trading business. You’ll define strategy, mobilise the programme, and drive value through standardised processes and a future operating model. Working with senior stakeholders worldwide, you will shape governance, business cases, and delivery roadmaps, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes. You will work across business, technology, and external partners to deliver data-enabled, technology-driven transformation that supports the company’s trading and supply objectives.
Responsibilities - Lead discovery, strategy and mobilisation for the Global Supply & Demand programme
- Assess current processes, operating models, data and technology capabilities
- Drive global process harmonisation and standardisation
- Define objectives, scope, roadmap and delivery approach
- Develop business and investment cases and executive recommendations
- Establish programme governance, reporting and decision forums
- Plan and control delivery (scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks)
- Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate
- Lead cross-functional teams across business, technology and third-party suppliers
- Manage stakeholder engagement and communications
- Ensure delivery of agreed outcomes within cost, schedule, quality and benefits targets
Key requirements - Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation initiatives
- Experience defining and implementing global operating models
- Experience delivering enterprise process standardisation and harmonisation programmes
- Strong discovery, assessment, strategy and mobilisation experience
- Track record of developing business cases and investment proposals
- Exceptional senior stakeholder management, influencing and facilitation skills
- Strong programme and project management capability including governance and risk management
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and external suppliers
- Strong financial management, planning, budgeting and tracking skills
- Experience delivering technology-enabled business transformation programmes
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership and resilience skills
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent)
