Overview As a Project Manager at Papaya Global, you will lead complex customer implementations for contingent workforce programs, aligning MSP and VMS workflows with client needs. You’ll guide cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, scalable solutions and ensure successful rollout for global customers. This role blends client-facing delivery with internal coordination to drive visibility, efficiency, and risk management in supplier management. You will work with leading VMS platforms to shape transformational outcomes for extended workforces.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end implementations for contingent labor programs, coordinating MSP stakeholders and VMS integrations
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects within scope, time, and budget
- Serve as primary client contact during implementation and provide executive-ready status reports
- Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Legal, and Compliance to align requirements with Papaya offerings
- Ensure delivery complies with contractual obligations and global contingent labor regulations
- Monitor project performance, escalate risks, and drive continuous improvement of MSP/VMS processes
- Lead weekly implementation meetings and manage deliverables
Key requirements - 5+ years in Project Management or Senior Project Management
- Proven experience leading large, multi-faceted customer implementations in the contingent workforce space
- Knowledge of MSP delivery models and VMS tools (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, Magnit)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously with focus on compliance and customer success
- Excellent communication skills across functions and geographies
- Strong problem-solving abilities and risk mitigation for complex programs
