Overview In this role you lead civil engineering utility and water schemes across the SE, ensuring on-time, profitable delivery to client specifications. You work within the management team reporting to the Regional Director, coordinating field teams and subcontractors. You drive cost control, value engineering and safe delivery, while upholding company policies and quality standards. The position offers the chance to shape complex projects, stretch your leadership across disciplines, and bolster the division’s reputation through successful outcomes.

Responsibilities - Profitably complete projects per client specs and achieve client satisfaction
- Plan resources and resolve shortfalls and re-sourcing efficiently
- Coordinate interfaces with other parts of the division
- Ensure personnel and subcontractors follow company policies, are trained, competent, and safe
- Collaborate with commercial staff on Cost Value Reports and Contract Status Reports
- Liaise with estimating for value engineering and lessons learnt to improve tenders
- Deliver schemes profitably and on time to enhance the company's reputation
- Assist in identifying new client targets and develop approaches with Commercial Manager
Key requirements - Extensive PM experience on civil engineering schemes
- Experience in civil works, earthworks, Highways/Roads and Design and Build projects
- Degree qualified and able to manage a project team
