Overview In this role you will lead the Project HSE Management System across an EPIC oil & gas development project in Kingston. You will act as the HSE focal point for Project Management, guiding a dedicated HSE team and coordinating with clients and subcontractors. You will drive risk assessments, incident investigations, and audit programs, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, CDM, ISO and IOGP standards. Responsibilities - Lead the Project HSE Management System across EPIC phases
- Act as project HSE focal point and advise Project Management
- Develop and coordinate the HSE team
- Interface with Clients and manage HSE contractual requirements
- Lead HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessments and risk management activities
- Lead accident and incident investigations
- Establish HSE monitoring and audit programmes
- Manage subcontractor HSE performance
- Support environmental management activities
- Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation, CDM, ISO and IOGP standards
- Lead project HSE reviews and close-out reporting
Key requirements - 10+ years' HSE experience, including 3+ years at HSE Manager level
- Strong Oil & Gas, energy, engineering or construction project experience
- Knowledge of UK HSE legislation and CDM Regulations
- Experience working to IOGP standards is highly desirable
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Tech IOSH or above preferred
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor desirable
- Strong experience in HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessment and incident investigation
