Overview As a Project Manager at Arcadis, you will lead NEC ECC-based delivery on water, flood defence, and civil engineering schemes. You’ll work within the Water and Programme & Project Management teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes that align with NEC contract requirements. The role focuses on providing contractual advice, administration, and risk-led decision making during construction, with a strong emphasis on health, safety, and environmental objectives. You’ll collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to drive transformational outcomes and resilient water infrastructure.
Responsibilities - Manage civil, water, and utility projects under NEC4/NEC3 ECC contracts, including contract administration
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and third parties to ensure delivery within time, budget, and quality targets
- Provide high-level construction advisory support and issue resolution based on best practice and standards
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and reallocate resources to maintain project priorities
- Produce quality management reporting to inform planning and stakeholder communications
- Support integrated solutions and change management to improve organizational performance
- Promote health and safety and ensure safe working practices
- Support teams to deliver environmental benefits and resilient outcomes
Key requirements - Experience in project management with NEC ECC contract management on large, complex projects
- Civil engineering, utilities, water, environment, or infrastructure project exposure
- Strong track record with NEC forms of contract
- Memberships in ICE, RICS, APM, or CIWEM are advantageous
- NEC3 or NEC4 Accredited Project Manager is advantageous
- Flood risk management experience is desirable (optional)
