Now hiring: Development Project Manager II
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the electric utility, transmission, or distribution space to support a portfolio of low-to-moderate risk development projects.
This role will have single-point accountability for project planning and execution, working across Engineering, Project Controls, Estimating, Construction, Supply Chain, EHS, QA/QC, Operations, Regulatory, and other project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, costs, quality, safety, and risk
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and functional teams
• Lead project meetings and provide weekly/monthly status reporting
• Support estimating, procurement, contracting, equipment selection, and project execution strategies
• Monitor project performance and make adjustments to maintain schedule and cost objectives
• Support project planning, construction, commissioning, and integration activities as applicable
What we’re looking for:
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in electrical transmission, distribution, utilities, or a related field
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Strong understanding of utility/transmission industry terminology and project execution
• Experience with project scheduling and cost controls
• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Construction management knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• PMP certification is preferred
Location: Hybrid — Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office
A strong understanding of the utility/transmission industry is a must for this opportunity.
