On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, electrical contractor working on high-profile commercial projects for large facilities. You will step into a role designed for someone who wants to progress, take on more responsibility, and develop leadership skills over time.
This company has been established for decades and is known for delivering high-quality work across commercial electrical construction, service and maintenance, and low-voltage/communications integration. Due to continued growth and expansion plans, they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to support ongoing and new projects.
In this role you will plan and organize projects from estimate and scope through delivery, manage budgets and monthly cost reports, lead change orders, coordinate vendors and pricing, and work closely with on-site leadership to keep projects on schedule. You will also help train and supervise Project Engineers in company systems and standards.
This role would suit an Electrical Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager with commercial electrical construction experience, looking to progress into senior leadership while owning complex projects and developing a team around them.
The Role:
- Manage commercial electrical construction projects from estimate/proposal through close-out
- Vendor pricing, scope, change orders, progress billing and monthly costing reports
- Coordinate on-site delivery with Foreman / Superintendent to maintain schedule and budget
- Train and supervise Project Engineers in company systems and project standards
The Person:
- Electrical Project Management experience within commercial electrical construction
- Background in estimating and delivering projects end-to-end
- Looking for long-term progression into Senior Project Manager and Division leadership
