Senior Project Manager – Data Center Construction
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the full data center lifecycle: concept, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout
- Lead day-to-day construction oversight and report project health to executive stakeholders
- Drive design from Basis of Design through construction documents
- Coordinate engineering teams, site developers, general contractors, and technical vendors
- Manage data hall fit-out: busway, PDUs, fiber infrastructure, Cat6 networks, server cabinets, and hot aisle containment
- Track cost, schedule, scope, and risk across multiple projects
- Review and manage RFIs, engineering questions, and submittals
- Track engineering deliverables, equipment deliveries, installations, and commissioning milestones
- Run contractor, developer, and engineering meetings to keep every stakeholder aligned
- Build and manage internal and external design teams
WHAT YOU BRING
- 7+ years of construction project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
- Strong command of construction processes, MEP and engineering coordination, and project delivery
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once
- Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills
STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Data center design and/or construction experience (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise)
- Experience on other complex builds: hospitals, labs, high-rise commercial, manufacturing plants/fabs, power plants, or substations
- Commissioning experience (Levels 1-5)
- Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam
- PE, RA, or NCARB (preferred, not required)
