Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager – Financial Services

We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager with strong financial services experience to manage high-priority network infrastructure readiness and electronic trading infrastructure projects .
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring a strong communicator who can lead calls, manage multiple workstreams, provide clear implementation status, and take full ownership and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple infrastructure projects through planning, implementation, testing, and production readiness.
- Coordinate installation of network equipment, circuits, cross-connects, and data center infrastructure.
- Partner with Network Operations, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Track hardware, dependencies, timelines, risks, issues, and project milestones.
- Support infrastructure readiness for electronic trading, market data, client connectivity, and extranet services.
- Communicate project status and implementation details to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Required Experience:
- 10–12+ years of technology project management experience , preferably in financial services.
- Strong experience managing network infrastructure projects in data centers, offices, exchanges, or colocations.
- Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, carrier circuits, data centers, and network infrastructure .
- Experience with market data, electronic trading, exchanges, or low-latency environments .
- Knowledge of exchanges such as NYSE, Nasdaq, BATS , and connectivity providers such as BT Radianz or TNS .
- Experience with Jira and ServiceNow .
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage aggressive deadlines, and adapt quickly.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Operations, Architecture, Technology, Risk, and Compliance.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Teams.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- PMP certification
- CCNA
- Agile / Kanban experience
- Financial services, trading, market data, or low-latency infrastructure background
Important: This is a Project Management role, not an Engineering position .
