IT Program Manager
Contract: 6 months

Schedule:40 hours, Onsite
Pay:$95-$107/hr DOE
The Planet Groupis seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Program Manager to join a growing security team at our Bio-Technology Pharma client.
IT Program Manager Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Experience with project lifecycles, scheduling, risk management, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Risk and Issue Management skills.
- Strong Program Management skills.
IT Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing IT Programs consisting of multiple projects.
- Develops program strategy, supporting business case and project plans.
- Responsible for delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time, within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements.
- Ensures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as necessary, based upon the needs of the business.
- Communicates with IT leadership and senior business leadership to communicate program strategy, direction and changes.
- Partners with senior leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
- Maintains the efficiency of the project management process such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment. Identifies and mitigates potential risks.
- Manages teams of multiple project managers, project leaders and/or support staff.
- Monitors, measures and reports on project status to IT leadership and senior business leadership. Manage multiple simultaneous cross functional teams and projects across various sites & geographical locations to gather product requirements, define key tasks, track project deliverables, dependencies, and milestones throughout the complete project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules and project management plans, taking into account all dependencies and constraints.
- Manage change in accordance with the change management plan to control scope, quality, schedule, cost, and contracts.
- Capture program status and data by ensuring the population of the program management information system in order to maintain accurate and current program information for the use of stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations to streamline or make existing processes more efficient.
